Full Job Description

The Critical Facilities Operator position is a Monday - Friday office-based role, working rotational shift pattern of Monday - Thursday (7.00 - 19.00).

As a Critical Facilities Operator in Global security Team, you will manage global critical facility operations and acting as disaster recovery for the main Alarm Monitoring Centre (AMC).,

  • Monitor critical facility alarms, ensure a timely response within established SLAs, conduct thorough investigations using CCTV and monitoring applications, and properly close alarms or escalate accordingly.

  • Be responsible for access control, conducting thorough security checks, accurately logging events, and promptly escalating incidents in accordance with established procedures.

  • Conduct alarm testing, identify faults, raise tickets, and follow up until resolved.

  • Provide training for stakeholders that are required to cover the Critical Facilities Operator's role during silent hours, following the training framework

  • Be responsible for access control, conducting thorough security checks, accurately logging events, and promptly escalating incidents in accordance with established procedures.

  • The Global Security (GS) team protects the firm's people and assets, ensuring the safety of business operations through the implementation of technology, best-in-class talent and client collaboration. Teams are responsible for developing safety policies and procedures, customer safety, pre-employment screening, fraud investigations and security operations on a global basis.

  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple workstreams effectively whilst being proactive in communicating risks and issues and developing appropriate solutions.

  • Exceptional written communication skills with ability to produce comprehensive reports and briefs at pace

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, confident to present and brief at the highest levels.

  • Experience in Incident Management, Security Operations Centres, Crisis Management, or similar function

  • Have attention to detail and the ability to follow processes and procedures with the aptitude to identify areas of improvement

  • Must be computer literate and able to use Microsoft applications, experience in access control, alarm monitoring, intruder detection, CCTV monitoring applications an advantage.
