Customer Operations Agent - Gatehouse

An opportunity has arisen to join the P&O Ferries team in Hull as a Gatehouse Operator.

This role supports the management team in delivering safe, cost effective port operations services to both internal and external customers at a consistently high level, whilst using knowledge of the freight gatehouse operations to achieve these efficiencies. Working as part of a team is essential, and the role will be required to support Tourist and Quayside colleagues when needed.

Duties include accurate inputting of data relating to freight units onto various systems, ensuring compliant paperwork with all relevant export and safety & security information, and completing regular audits and inventories, amongst other key responsibilities.

The ideal candidates will have experience working in a freight gatehouse, as well as in processing and dealing with dangerous goods and customs paperwork. They must have a full UK driving licence, strong communication skills and prior data entry experience.
