    About the Role:
    + To keep the site operations manager, strategic account manager and the client management informed of incidents, and to ensure that agreed levels of service and contractual requirements are achieved as a minimum.
    + Delivering excellent customer service
    + Good level of concentration and coordinating
    + Good communication skills and effective report writing capabilities
    + Physical protection of the premises from any external or internal threats and preservation of life
    + Prevention of loss of assets, critical technology, sensitive information, or reputational damage
    + Thorough knowledge of the client to minimise impact to business areas, escalate where appropriate and understanding of critical systems
    + Oversee perimeter access through reception for staff, tenants, contractors, visitors, and vehicles.
    + Undertaking patrolling, searching and emergency response procedures.
    + Greet all staff and visitors.
    + Inspect all passes as necessary.
    + Assists with any enquiries.
    + Log and announce visitors to site.
    + Access Control. (Lenel, Ccure etc)
    + Internal and External foot patrol.
    + Monitoring and use of CCTV, fire, intruder, and other electronic systems.
    + Responding quickly and effectively to emergency situations and assisting with fire evacuation procedures
    + The implementation of Health and Safety, Fire Regulations, and other in-house safety/environmental policies
    + To carry out any investigations as required and to ensure reports are completed and sent to the site manager.
    · Provide assistance for staff that experiences any welfare difficulties. When unable to resolve report to the Site Manager/Supervisor.
    · To record and process data from the Patrol Management System.
    · To ensure all site records are maintained and that all information required for monthly reports is completed.
    · To deputise for the Supervisors as required.
    + To act as a first line support for shift officers who encounter incidents or difficulties and escalate as appropriate to customer or Mitie management.
    Specific Duties:
    + Always arrive for shift on time. To be ready and be on post as per shift pattern.
    + Book on with Supervisor/Control and provide full handover at end of shift.
    + Follow the directions of the Supervisor.
    + Wear the correct uniform for the duties in the correct way.
    + Take the break for the prescribed time and no longer.
    + Only smoke in designated smoking areas and NEVER on duty while on post.
    + Do not chew gum, eat, or drink on post, use personal telephone, or lean on buildings.
    + Stop all skateboarders or in-line skaters as described in the AIs.
    + Assists occupiers, visitors, and tourists with enquiries.
    + Maintain radio communications always open.
    + Follow designated communications protocols.
    + Carry out patrols and investigations as required.
    + Report and maintain a written record of all faults / incidents.
    + Ask for advice from Manager when uncertain.
    + Have a working knowledge of the Assignment Instructions
    + Follow and lead emergency procedures as required.
    + Ensure personal and public safety in the carrying out of duties.
    + To carry out reception duties when required
    + Check your duty roster every time you are on shift.
    + Daily inspection of all shift team members and completion of new uniform requests.
    + Complete the daily Site Assignment Log.
    + Record all lateness and absenteeism.
    + Book on staff on shift accurately.
    + Account for the issue and return of all keys.
    + To undertake fire alarm tests as required
    + To regularly assess team members knowledge and expertise
    + To assist with site training of new staff
    + To carry out any additional tasks as requested by the customer.
    + Report all systems faults.
    + To collect all the required data for management reports
    + To manage communications between Team Members on site and maintain up to date contact lists.
    + To complete a shift handover report for each shift and arrive at least 15 minutes before shift start.
    + To allocate staff to duties and evenly distribute demand for extra work among the team.
    + To carry out any additional tasks as requested by the customer.

    + SC clearance - vetting will be conducted after completion of successful interview.
