Full Job Description

  • Analyse business domains to identify improvement opportunities.

  • Specify technology solutions based on business and technical requirements.

  • Model data solutions and assess security risks for IT systems.

  • Evaluate legal and ethical implications of technology solutions.

  • Apply skills in system development, cybersecurity, and AI for digital solutions.

  • Apply engineering principles throughout the software development process.

  • Evaluate and mitigate security threats to technology solutions.

  • Lead cyber security audits and manage security incidents.

  • Manage cyber security processes within SLAs.

  • Design and manage computer networks, identifying security risks.

  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.

    Part of being an apprentice at Siemens means you get to work on real life projects whilst also being supported in your educational commitments. During this apprenticeship, you will be studying for BEng Honours or BSc Honours degree in Digital and Technology Solutions. You can read all about the apprenticeship by clicking here.

  • Be 18 or older.

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK and have lived here for more than 3 years.

  • Applicants must have GCSE Mathematics and English Language (grade A-C / 9-4) or equivalent - or must complete Level 2 Functional Skills qualifications alongside the apprenticeship.

  • A British Sign Language (BSL) qualification is an alternative to the English qualification for those whose primary language is BSL.

  • Applicants should have a minimum of 104 points at A2 (grades BCC) or an equivalent, e.g. BTEC DMM.
