Deputy Manager

Hold an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare.

Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in Residential Childcare and working alongside young people.

Be at least 22 years old to comply with children's homes regulations.

Have a valid driving licence.

70% of the current Registered Managers were previously Deputy Managers within the company.

It does not stop at becoming a Registered Manager, with the current number of homes and the additional 23 homes just in 2024 there are multiple opportunities for Regional and Senior Regional, roles. Again the majority of the Regional Managers are former Registered Managers who have been promoted from within.

Working Week and Pay…

Managerial time and on-shift time : This is a 50/50 20 hours / 20 hours, (40hours per week / 173hours per month). You are paid for any time over time.

Salary : £35,000 for your 40 hours and £50 per sleep for any sleep completed.

Additional pay : £250 on completing your Therapeutic Training, deliver in-house AND Opportunities for bonuses based on achieving Ofsted outcomes and service milestones.

Training…

As a Deputy Manager, you will be offered the opportunity to do the Management training programmes. There are 2 x courses available (One of the courses has 6 modules on leadership and management) and these are run by a Regional Operations Manager,

The Provider provides extensive and relevant training to support staff members in their roles and ensure career development. Additionally, staff are supported by a friendly and supportive management team.
