Full Job Description

· Develop and maintain QA procedures and processes to support NUK business and programmes.

· Ability to analyse data and trends to identify risks and opportunities and communicate these to stakeholders [at all levels]

· Experience in ISO 9001, 450001 & 14001 standards

· Understanding of Carbon Reduction

· Implementation and management of ISO 9001 and Project specific quality requirements

· Carry our internal and 2nd party audits.

· Experience coordinating 3rd party surveillance audits.

· Deputise where necessary for the QSHE manager.

· Proven experience in Quality Assurance and managing a QMS.

· Ability to read and interpret quality requirements within contracts and technical documentation.

· At least 10 years continued experience in Quality Assurance

· Proven relevant QA experience in engineering, defence or related industry.

· A Broad working experience in more than one phase of the manufacture and acceptance process with sufficient experience to enable a good understanding of adjacent activities and through life operational issues.

· In-depth knowledge of the fundamentals of Quality Assurance

Qualifications:

· IOSH Managing Safely

· Lead auditor/internal auditor qualification

· The successful candidate must be able to achieve SC security clearance for this role.

· Affiliation to the Chartered Quality Institute
