Full Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Deputy Support manager/Senior to join our supported living locations in Dunstbale, Bedfordshire, supporting adults with learning disabilities and Autism to live their life their way.

What we do matters so we are looking for someone with a strong track record of sector based experience in a senior post. This role will be crucial in ensuring we can continue our goal of making a difference every day to those we support.

This is a part time role for 22.5 hours per week (3 days) with an option for full time hours if working 15 hours hands on (paid at a different rate)

You will need to work flexibly as required and be prepared to take part in the out of hours On-call rota.

You must be a driver with access to your own vehicle.

Affinity Trust does not presently hold a Sponsorship Licence and while this status is reviewed regularly there is no present proposal to apply for such a Licence

What will you do?

As a Deputy Support Manager you will assist in the day to day delivery of high-quality, safe and person - centred support.

You will foster excellent working relationships amongst all teams', families, professionals, referrers, and all other stakeholders.

Assist the Support Manager to improve the support people receive, identifying meaningful opportunities for involvement of people we support in shaping their life, their home and inputting into the organisation.

Lead by example and provide hands on support to people we support when required.

Deputise for the Support Manager in their absence and be willing to work flexibly according to the needs of the organisation.
