Full Job Description

This is both a customer and a colleague facing role, which includes visiting client sites and working when our colleagues are working. You will be delivering required practical and theoretical training to Regular Cleaning colleagues. Assessing the training needs of colleagues and discussing with the Development & Wellbeing team how and what training to deliver. Assessing our colleagues understanding and compliance of training content. Assisting to create learning environments where colleagues can continuously develop to be their best. To develop and coach all colleagues.

Your duties would include but are not limited to:

  • Plan shifts around training requirements and in line with the D&W training plan and strategy, to ensure all colleagues are sufficiently trained

  • Direct colleagues to our training platform where possible and assess them on their progress. Deliver training face to face training session on a variety of subjects

  • Perform a TNA on colleagues to ensure they have the required training for them to carry out their role effectively and to ensure their Health and Safety while working

  • Log all training delivered using our training software

  • Assess and review all training given and all training completed through our training platform

  • Make suggestions for improvements to content of training and training materials

  • Suggest new courses we could deliver to colleagues

  • Meet with colleagues to create Personal Development Plans for those who wish to progress within the company or who want to develop themselves

  • Report on and record any breaches of procedures, policy, or guidelines using a Corrective Action Request (CAR)

  • Lead, develop, coach and mentor our colleagues ensuring a high quality of training and assessment are achieved and targets and deadlines are met.

  • Support and aid delivery of our Sustainability Strategy including supporting our social value projects and our Net Zero 30 target

  • Promote Regular Cleaning colleague initiatives such as Regular Rewards, training platforms, social media, Social Value initiatives etc

    We are looking for:

  • You should be diplomatic, tactful and have the ability to provide exceptional customer service

  • A high standard of verbal and written English

  • Creative, engaging, organised with acute attention to detail

  • Excellent open and honest communicator ensuring information is clear and concise

  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams by being a team player and having the ability to work effectively with others

  • Organised, methodical, proactive with excellent time management skills (meets set deadlines)

  • Pro-active with the ability to train people and ensure their understanding (must hold a Train The Trainer qualification)

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office package

  • Extensive knowledge of cleaning is an advantage

  • Leadership experience is an advantage

  • Multilingual or bilingual is an advantage

    Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 per annum

    Working hours: 40 hours per week
