Full Job Description

We are diversifying our business intelligence resource with the hire of a Digital Analyst. This is an opportunity to be part of an exciting, dynamic group of companies that specialises in the manufacture, import, export and distribution of fine food products - as our name suggests, we are all about artisan cheese, but stock a variety of different products as well as producing a delicious range of crackers, savoury and sweet biscuits in our Derbyshire-based bakery.

This role would suit somebody enthusiastic about data, the story that it tells and how these insights can be engineered to drive key business decisions. Specific to this role is the engagement with data regarding digital marketing and our e-commerce outlet (website). We're seeking a proven and experienced candidate who understands our customers, what their needs are and what we can be doing to continually meet those needs to a high standard!,

  • Develop novel reporting on the output of GA4 (Google Analytics) and other digital data measurement tools to drive key strategic decisions regarding e-commerce and digital marketing - what can these tools tell us about our customer base?

  • Report on data regarding website performance and the user experience, informing the allocation of resources regarding adaptations that may be required (bug fixes, restructure, key word changes etc).

  • A/B testing and statistical analysis to assess the efficacy of digital marketing implementations/other marketing campaigns.

  • Prepare and present data visually for meetings and presentations.

  • Take responsibility for the business's digital data assets such as marketing/customer databases, ensuring data is accurate and up to date.

  • Assist in the analysis and reporting of sales data.

  • Assist in the identification and maintenance of KPIs to drive increased business efficiency., Please note this role is 100% office based to best support the function and offer guidance to our onsite E-commerce team. Mon-Fri

    Previous technical experience of MS Dynamics and CRM systems

  • Experience of using Power BI or similar Business Intelligence tools to extract and analyse data

  • Coding skills and familiarity with any of the following: JavaScript, HTML, Python, R or SQL

  • Understanding of data management principles including CRM, CMS, and API

  • University degree ideally related to data analytics and/or digital marketing.

  • Analytical mindset.

  • Diligence.

  • Exceptional organisational skills - ability to navigate ambiguity and manage multiple tasks concurrently.

  • Curious and initiative-taking.

  • Engaging presentation skills - a clear communicator of information, both written and verbally.
