Digital Marketing Executive

As a Digital Marketing Executive at Aware Digital, you will be responsible for delivering our inbound lead generation strategy, by managing our on-site content, social media accounts and email marketing.

You'll also have the opportunity to work on our client websites to help them reach their ecommerce goals, broaden your skills across a number of specialisms and be an essential part of our company's growth.

This is a brand new role, with plenty of opportunity for the right person to gain hands-on experience and grow an important part of our marketing strategy and shape our future services for us and our clients.,

• Work alongside the senior marketing team to create and implement a cross-channel marketing calendar that highlights our services, our partners and our work across our blog, social media and email channels


• Management of our social media channels, predominantly LinkedIn and Twitter


• Image and asset creation either through Photoshop or Canva


• Create email marketing campaigns through Klaviyo to send to our current clients and prospects


• Create reports using Google Analytics and other tools to assess the impact of your work


• Assist with updating our own WordPress website and optimising the user experience


• Assist with prospecting, pitching for new clients and improve the selling in of our services


• Assist with client work when required


• Assist with events and webinars when required

• 1-2 years experience in digital marketing, with a strong desire to advance your career


• A good understanding of basic marketing principles including SEO, content creation and social media management


• A good understanding of Google Analytics


• Strong written and verbal communication skills


• Strong attention to detail, organisational skills and project management skills


• Relevant certifications such as Google, Microsoft, Meta Blueprint are desired, but we'll support you through these if you haven't attained them yet


• Ecommerce and agency experience is desirable and preferred but not essential

• Salary c.£20k-£25k DOE

• We work on a flexible, hybrid model to support you where you work best. Ideally this would include 2-3 days a week from our central Manchester (M2) office, as well as WFH and occasional travel to our HQ in Stoke-on-Trent (J15).
