Full Job Description

As a Digital Product Specialist you will have a diverse and varied role. Here are just some of the things you'll be getting involved with:

  • Provide internal and customer-facing system support for TAG's digital client-facing technology

  • Support day-to-day system updates, configurational changes, testing and system maintenance tasks

  • Validate, review and monitor site escalations received from both external clients and internal colleagues

  • Deliver system training to external clients and internal staff via online demonstrations or in-person meetings where necessary

  • Lead client-facing implementation projects (based on scope and complexity) across the TAG digital product suite

  • Create internal and customer-facing information documentation to ensure a smooth handover of new accounts at go-live and into business as usual

  • Ensure all documentation for Digital products are maintained and distributed where applicable

  • Keep updated with new product releases and attend any necessary relevant training to maintain knowledge and continue personal and professional development

  • Work closely with and support the Account Management and global Sales teams as required for new business processes, including the delivery of product demonstrations and assisting with functionality queries and best practice

  • Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time, This is a full-time role (35 hours per week) based in our Manchester office. Since March 2020, we have operated a flexible, hybrid approach to working and will continue to do this moving forward. We will work with you to find the best mix of office and home working that suits your life and the needs of the team.


  • You will report into the Online Product Implementation Manager, who is based in Manchester. There are other teams based in London, Saudi Arabia, APAC, and the US that you may work closely with, too.

As a Digital Product Specialist there are several credentials and attributes which would be advantageous, but a determined attitude and willingness to learn, are equally important.
  • Education to Degree level or higher In lieu of education - equivalent combination of education and directly related experience

  • Experience of SAP Concur Travel implementation processes and procedures

  • Detailed knowledge of the SAP Concur Travel product

  • Travelport GDS experience and competency

  • Travel industry professional, with prior customer-facing agent booking experience

  • Experience with implementation, configuration, and support of digital travel products such as Virtual Payments, Risk Management, Mobile Itinerary applications and Analytic platforms

  • Knowledge of alternative global online travel booking tools alongside an understanding of API and data integration platforms

  • ITIL/Service based and Project Management qualifications or experience

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office suite

  • Proven record of working in a fast-paced environment

  • Highly collaborative with strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop and enhance relationships with clients, peers and suppliers

  • Excellent communication and people skills and ability to produce clear, concise and detailed documentation

  • An inquisitive, analytical mind with the ability to methodically analyse errors, solve problems and suggest solutions

  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, handling multiple priorities

  • Skilled at adapting to a variety of people and circumstances and working between different teams/individuals

  • Strong organisation with an appreciation for timely responses/actions and meeting strict deadlines.

  • Consistent attention to detail, high levels of accuracy and ability to work within changing priorities with continued enthusiasm

  • Desire to learn new skills

  • Flexibility to working hours and a willingness to work on a shift-rota basis, cover absence of global colleagues and travel to other UK or global offices
