Full Job Description

We are recruiting for a Digital Skills Coordinator who will be responsible for developing and delivering innovative digital training programmes for all staff. The coordinator will work closely with the college's leadership team to identify areas for digital training, assess the needs of staff and design and deliver training programmes that meet those needs. This will include supporting all staff with the use of Microsoft365 and SharePoint, as well as working closely with the Digital Learning Team to promote the use of Moodle, Microsoft Teams Classroom and other educational apps.

In addition to coordinating and delivering training sessions, the Digital Skills Coordinator responsible for promoting the use of educational technology within the college. This will involve working with staff to identify ways that technology can enhance the learning experience for students and to develop strategies for integrating technology into the curriculum to meet the emerging digital needs within employment and/or sector. This will include but not be limited to Artificial Intelligence (AI), Virtual Reality (VR) and Augmented Reality (AR).

The successful candidate will need to have a high level of competence in using IT, including experience of Microsoft 365 and other educational technologies. You will hold a Level 3 qualification Grade C or above in English and Maths GCSE (or equivalent), along with experience of coordinating projects and effectively collaborating with stakeholders. Furthermore, you will be motivated, forward thinking, supportive and a good team worker who is flexible and adaptable.
