Full Job Description
- Lead a small team of (~5) Engineers, responsible for evaluating Dimensional Feasibility of the product design, identifying technical issues and ensuring design entitlement to deliver quality targets
- Conduct regular 1:1's with team, setting objectives, managing their performance and supporting with development
- Manage technical issues, leading team with problem solving and driving issue resolution
- Support Line Manager, keeping them updated with status and escalating appropriately
- Attend Programme Meetings at all levels, representing the department and presenting status
- Be the primary point of contact for a programme for other departments / disciplines
- Lead Quality Planning and analysis for vehicle launch maturation
We are looking for a Lead Dimensional Engineer to be part of our exceptional team. Roles are available within our Body Structure, Closures and Cladding, and Vehicle System teams. If you are an individual with drive, keenness to learn, who enjoys working in a team to solve problems, whilst operating in a highly demanding environment, then this may be the role for you., Proven leadership experience either directly or in-directly leading a team - Self-Motivated individual, who takes full ownership for deliverables
