Full Job Description

We pride ourselves on the support we give to our students that need additional learning support, in order to enhance their university experience.
In this role, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality information, advice and guidance service delivered by our busy and progressive Disability and Dyslexia Team.
You will be part of a team who are responsible for the administrative processes around setting up support for students with specific learning differences, physical and sensory impairments, mental health, and autistic spectrum conditions, as well as other disabilities and long-term medical conditions. This role will require you to allocate effective support for students and be a point of contact for the staff who provide this service.
The key responsibilities of the role include:
o Being a point of contact for staff providing non-medical help to students
o Maintaining records for external audits and prepare documentation as requested by auditors.
o Supporting other members of the Disability and Dyslexia Team so that students receive their non-medical help
o Assisting the Team with administrative tasks such as bookings for events or training.
o Processing pay claims and invoices in a timely manner
o Keeping student records accurate and up to date
o Ensuring that external funding bodies reimburse the University for support provided to students.
This is a part-time role for 22 hours per week and there is flexibility for working days and hours to be agreed with the successful candidate.
Additionally, this post is eligible for agile working, meaning that you can work part of your hours remotely, in agreement with your manager.
Interviews will be held week commencing the 27th of May.
