DLF Driver

Working out of our freight partners Hub in Verwood, Dorset & reporting to the area TR Fastenings Customer Logistics Team Leader, your role will be to contribute to the effective and efficient smooth running of the Direct Line Feed (DLF) operation and to ensure the delivery of a cost-effective service for both internal and external customers is achieved. The working pattern will be Monday to Thursday 07:00-16:00 and Fridays 07:00-15:45.

Key tasks include:

• Ensure efficient and accurate deliveries of DLF customer orders.


• Ensure Kanban's are properly maintained to TR Fastenings` & the Customers` agreed standard.


• Efficient monitoring and management of stock at customer premises, practicing FIFO.


• Report any issues with the Kanban systems to the nominated person.
  
  We are seeking a candidate who values teamwork but also possesses the drive and initiative to work independently. The ideal applicant will have experience driving a transit-size vehicle, hold a full, clean driving license, and have a background in customer service.
