Drainage Engineer

This is a full time position and will involve an on call rota (approx 1 night every 12 days). The work is primarily commercial and within the Merseyside/Warrington areas. Plenty of overtime is available if required. The depot is based in Bootle. Please visit our website for further information regarding Metro Rod.,

• All works to be carried ensuring all that all the relevant health and safety aspects in relation to the work is covered


• All equipment to be clean, maintained and looked after to a high standard. This includes vehicles and jetters


• Smart in appearance and courteous to customers at all times


• Vehicle and jetter checks are conducted weekly


• Defective equipment to be reported immediately


• Be part of an "on call" rota for out of hours works


• Receive regular toolbox talks/staff memos and action as required


• Effective use of PDAs including adhering to customer budgets, photographs and any additional paperwork or procedures required for individual customers


• Ensure that all works required are carried out to a high standard and any further works are detailed to the office and where possible carried out there and then. If no immediate uplift is available then it must be detailed on the PDA


• All areas to be checked and tested for any further issues to prevent any recalls


• Areas left clean and tidy, workplace and unit


• Office advised when works complete


• Effective communication to the customer of arrival time and job status.


• Whenever possible, distribute marketing literature to specified customers and feedback given to the office


• To carry out additional duties as required and deemed to be a necessity of the business
  
  Experienced Drainage Engineer required for an ever expanding Metro Rod depot. The candidate will possess a broad range of drainage experience as well as excellent communication skills - both verbal and written. They must be smart, attentive and demonstrate a commitment to high levels of customer care., Ideally, jetting, confined space, lining, EMC works, CCTV and associated cards. Not essential.
