Full Job Description

Are you a passionate and qualified EFL Teacher with an ability to engage young learners? Can you create and teach captivating lessons that motivate students? Do you thrive in a team environment? If this sounds like you, they'd love you to join their talented team of EFL Teachers, working on their UK based residential young learner courses this summer. They are seeking enthusiastic individuals to plan, prepare and teach engaging English language lessons to learners aged 7-17.,

  • Plan and teach engaging English language lessons that cater to different learnings styles.

  • Develop materials and resources for classroom use.

  • Set and administer placement testing to assess students' language level.

  • Provide constructive feedback to students on their progress.

  • Supervise students on study tours and assist with activities.

  • Complete associated admin tasks such as preparing the classroom, maintaining notice boards and packing and unpacking academic resources.

  • Contribute to a positive and collaborative working environment.


  • They are looking for candidates who are:

    Responsible You consistently prioritise the safety and well-being of our young learners and keep safeguarding at the heart of everything you do., Bell is committed to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff to share this commitment:
  • A DBS/Police Check will be requested in the event of a successful application (this will be paid for by Bell).

  • They do not accept DBS Checks undertaken by other organisations (unless you are on the update service).

  • All gaps in CVs must be explained satisfactorily.

  • Proof of identity and qualifications will be required.

  • All references will be followed up and reference requests will ask specifically whether there is any reason you should not be engaged in situations where you have responsibility for, or substantial access to, persons under 18.

  • Appropriate suitability checks will be required prior to confirmation of appointment.

    Adaptable You demonstrate an understanding of diverse learning styles and can tailor your approach to meet the needs of your learners.


  • Subject matter experts You have a strong command of the English language and a good understanding of language teaching methodologies.

    Culturally sensitive You demonstrate an understanding of cultural differences and ensure an inclusive and respectful learning environment.

    Enthusiastic You are passionate about working with young people and bring enthusiasm and energy to teamwork.

    If you don't have experience in the above but hold the relevant teaching qualifications they are still keen to hear from you. If you can develop and deliver inspiring and engaging lessons and create an immersive English language experience for their students, you will make a great EFL Teacher!
