Full Job Description

The EFL Teacher is part of the Academic Team and is responsible for delivering a superior student learning experience through the delivery of classroom instruction, tutorials and student assessment as defined in the EC Teacher Standards. As part of the Academic Team the teacher, in collaboration with the Director of Studies sets individual learning and development goals and actively seeks opportunities to further develop teaching practice.,

  • Plan and deliver classes according to the curriculum

  • Establish a positive learning environment for all learners

  • Create lessons that are motivating and engaging

  • Provide feedback and support

    EC English Language Centres, Teaching (EFL) English as a Foreign Language to visiting adult students provides an exceptional opportunity for the creative educator. Within the guidelines of the syllabus, you will experience a high level of creative space to design and deliver lessons with the support of our innovative methodology., B.A. Degree

  • CELTA / Trinity Certificate (or equivalent)


    • Experience Required:

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver high quality language lessons

  • Demonstrated ability to work with new technologies for teaching and administration


    • Experience Desired:

  • Experience studying or working abroad
