The Growth Company's (GC) Employment team have an exciting new opportunity for Employer Engagement Consultant to provide a quality recruitment service to GC's Employment customers and employers. Within the Restart Scheme, you will be part of a government initiative that provides personalised support for up to 12 months to help people find a job in their local area and help overcome any challenges that might be standing in the way of employment.

We help to make a lasting difference to the lives of people throughout the North of England and beyond, by supporting individuals to gain meaningful employment. Our highly skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a range of individuals; from people who have found themselves recently out of work, to those with complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental ill-health, and debt.

A driving licence is required with use of your own vehicle., Develop and implement a range of activity which produces leads and creates the opportunity to sell products and services to employers.
Building and maintaining relationships with GC's colleagues to develop a good understanding of support to business available, enabling you to build the number of referrals received and generate referrals to other Growth Company business units.
Develop and maintain relationships with both internal and external key stakeholders, for the benefit of the business and contracts worked on.
Undertaking a consultative approach with employers to identify their recruitment and workforce development needs aligned to GC Employments business objectives for current and future contracts. In addition, where appropriate upselling cross services from the The Growth Company product range, to maximise income through the sale of multiple Group services which will be on benefit to the business worked with.
Effectively account manager employers by maintaining and develop relationships, providing excellent levels of service, regular review, ensuring that repeat business is generated, and where appropriate that new services from the Group's product range are taken up.
Advertise all vacancies internally (and externally where appropriate) in a clear and concise manner, providing all the information required enabling operational staff to identify suitable candidates for vacancies.
Arrange interviews with employers and clearly communicate the interview details with both the customer and the customers operational advisors.
Ensure all services and employment is undertaken within an appropriate equal opportunities framework.

A warm, approachable style to delivery is required in order to build relationships and rapport.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to negotiate with employers, maximising sales as well as managing expectations and dealing with complaints.
Networking and communication skills, both written and oral.
Ability to work to challenging targets and KPIs.
Flexible approach to work including willingness to travel and working occasional unsociable hours.
Skills Required:

Must have previous sales experience.
Knowledge of recruitment and training services.
Excellent knowledge of the local labour market, methods of recruitment and growth industries.
Good knowledge of welfare to work and the customer base.
Recent experience of working to challenging targets within a sales environment.
Ideally experience of securing vacancies and subsequently securing job starts.
Well-developed IT skills, including an understanding of computerised management information systems, spreadsheets, diary management, and e-mail.
Ability to make contact with decision makers, identifying business opportunities and closing contracts.
