Full Job Description

As an Engineer Resource Controller you will ensure that the Field Engineer team is optimally matched to meet provisions, as well as fault and project demands. You will provide real time support to Field teams, Project teams and other customer facing units, ensuring they all meet their service targets. Your main responsibility will be to optimise work allocation and distribution up to 5 days out, utilising the allocations system.,

  • Monitor field allocation system to ensure effective deployment of field resource, working closely and collaboratively with engineers, making sure they are the best fit for the customer.

  • Use the right tools and systems to identify risks and issues with resource allocation profiles, flagging to the correct control / area manager.

  • Manage customer escalations on the day by utilising all resourcing solutions, including 3rd party resource.

  • Continually improve control processes, managing task enablement to meet required deadlines.

  • Manually build tasks to meet require appointment dates where automation is not in place, e.g. Cloud Voice.

    Problem solving, be logical and methodical.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office is essential, along with good written and verbal communication.

  • Previous experience as a resource controller or similar.

  • Multi-tasking and working under pressure.

  • Product Knowledge is desirable.
