Full Job Description

We're looking for a Northern England-based, practical and hands-on Employee Relations Advisor to support and coach on ER cases across our Haven Parks and Support Centre. There is a large Employee Relations training agenda for this year, this role will be responsible for delivering that training.

Your Opportunity:
To learn, develop and become an expert in a key area of the business by:
- Supporting all Leaders/Managers & People Partners on ER casework. Triaging all complex ER cases across Parks and Support Centre
- Coaching, influencing and mentoring leaders in management of all matters of employee relations, especially in relation to performance management, restructures and consultations, staff absence, disciplinary and grievance matters.
- Working with People Partners to provide a consistency in ER approach
- Working closely with the Learning & Development team to devise and support delivery of appropriate training and training materials on all ER matters to line managers
- Supporting dispute resolution, including Liaising directly with ACAS Conciliators and working with our solicitors in preparation and risk management of Employment Tribunals

Awareness of the main ER People Policies (Disciplinary, Grievance, Performance, and Attendance) required within a business and their implications
- Confidence and ability to deliver ER training to a wide range of stakeholders
- Up-to-date knowledge of Employment Legislation, Case Law, and be able to advise the business
- Experience managing a wide range of ER cases
- Appreciation and understanding of diversity and inclusion
