Full Job Description
- Oversee operational procedures for timely and accurate activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Completing Import Customs entries
- Deal with and prepare all relevant Import documents.
- Working closely with Operations, Finance, Customs department.
- Effectively communicating with General Manager, reporting issues in a timely manner.
- Complete assigned tasks/projects in a timely manner.
- Developing Customer Experience and Service
- Basic Admin Duties (Emails/Using the phone)
Must have minimum 2 years' experience of in customs industry. - Strong communication and follow skills that maximize the effectiveness of our enabling services
- Familiar with custom clearance system i.e. Sequoia, Destin8, CDS
- Export & road Freight experience preferable.
- We are looking for candidates who are a team player, have good communication skills, self- motivated, reliable, and can work under pressure.
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
- Work cooperatively with others.
- Computer literate preparing reports, communicating via email and work schedule.
- Comply with all Company policies and procedures

We also have 2 more branches, one in Heathrow dealing with air and road freight and a branch in Belgium handling freight between the UK and EU countries. Flying Air Cargo Ltd is looking for a French Speaking Experienced Customs Clearance Clerk suitable for a role in a fast-paced Freight Forwarders based near Birmingham.
