Are you looking for a challenge? An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our high performing Revenues and Benefits team working in a fast paced changing environment as a Revenues and Benefits Officer. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person to be part of our generic, dedicated team who are responsible for the recovery of unpaid Council Tax and Business Rates, the administration of Council Tax and Business Rates and the assessment of Housing Benefits and Council Tax Reduction.

The successful candidate will need exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written and should be comfortable in dealing with members of the public and businesses alike. As this is a demanding role, you will require excellent organisational, numerical, negotiating and literacy skills to help you ensure customer records are updated and processed in accordance with legislation.
You should have experience of working in a team environment but also using your own initiative which is an essential part of the role.
