Full Job Description

This position is within a busy multi skilled finance and administration team.The department is a hive of activity which works hard to handle all finances for the company and liaises with payroll to ensure wages are correct.

The finance assistant will be part of a dynamic and fluid team and have the ability to be flexible and step into all finance positions as and when required. This will involve covering ad hoc duties within the finance function e.g. checking service provider invoices and raising sales invoices to match, raising payment applications for construction work and assisting in recording hours worked from timesheets for sales ledger.

Tasks and Responsibilities.

  • Sales ledger

  • Construction Industry Scheme - Payment applications.

  • Liasing with operations director on any queries that may arise from charges from service providers.

  • Dealing with any queries that may arise from clients regarding invoices

    Experience of Xero

  • Experience of Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) - Not essential but preferable.

  • Proficient Excel skills.

  • Have excellent verbal and written skills

  • Have a proactive attitude

  • Can meet deadlines

  • Sense of humour.
