Full Job Description

To be a partner to our Client Partners (CP) providing financial support for forecasting, monthly reporting on actuals, annual budgeting activities as well as ad hoc requests. The role will also help the CP to spot trends and suggest strategic improvements for client accounts.

As Finance Business Partner, you will be a key member of the Finance Team, working closely with internal stakeholders to achieve their targets.

This Position will interface with the EMEA business region, and report into the Finance Manager .

  • Partnering with Client Partners and their specific clients


  • Provide commercial analysis for the Client Partner Teams and their respective Clients


  • Manage forecasting and budgeting for a number of specific clients to enable EMEA consolidation


  • Utilise live data tracking to highlight any risks to forecast / budget submissions so management can make informed decisions on costs


  • Intermediary between group finance and front office


  • Challenge stakeholders on their costs and advise strategic options to help reduce costs in these areas


  • Maintain accruals and prepayment schedules for monthly reporting and year end audit


  • You will business partner to drive performance in order to deliver on budgets


  • Provide clear commentary each month for variance to budget and/or forecast


  • You will need to present monthly analysis on WD3 for Financial Controller to review


  • Support Audit team with requests annually and interim


  • Work as part of a team to create a positive, supportive culture amongst finance as well as with rest of business, this is key to the team's success, Hybrid working offered, 2-3 days in the office per week, we can consider candidates in London or Bristol. Opportunities to travel to other office locations on an ad hoc basis.

    At least 3 years experience of financial analysis or management accounting

  • High performer & self starter

  • Microsoft Dynamics NAV experience an advantage

  • Excellent Excel skills

  • Great communicator with finance as well as non finance

  • Pro-active & Supportive approach

  • Knowledge of marketing industry would be beneficial, but not essential


  • Mindset to navigate the role

    A proactive and inquisitive mindset is a great advantage, as well as confidence to engage with all levels of management. Not only is it essential to have experience of working in finance, but also working with other business areas to gain a holistic view of the numbers.

    Temperament for the role

    True team player, able to communicate clearly and confidently whilst translating financial information for non-finance colleagues. Proactive and supportive, and able to build strong working relationships and the drive to get things done
