What are we looking for?We are looking to hire an enthusiastic graduate to join our newly formed data analytics team. We are seeking someone who is eager to learn, has high attention to detail & a passion for all things data and using that to influence management!Job DescriptionAs a finance data analytics graduate, you will play an important role in supporting decision making by providing insightful data analysis to stakeholders at all levels. You will also gain experience in various areas of Finance and Controlling: including Management Accounting & Sales Controlling. This means that you can produce accurate reporting and provide data and analysis for the team and management.As this role is part of a newly formed team, that is investing in BI technologies and data analytics processes, there will always be room for new ideas to be explored and a real opportunity to make an impact and grow within the business.This is an entry-level role, where the successful candidate will grow into
these responsibilities and gradually take more ownership of the below listed areas.Tasks include:Participation in month and year end closing (reconciliations, accurate reporting)Support with budget and material cost controlling (e.g., variance-analysis)Support with forecasting / business plan processesSupporting management discussions with preparation of presentations and data-analysisBecome business partner for assigned departmentsLiaising with stakeholders across the organization within the UK and overseas plantsSpecial ad-hoc reporting and analysis. Contribute to team goals for high quality reporting and analysis.
