Financial Controller

I am currently recruiting for a Financial Controller to join the team for a fantastic SME developer who have a pipeline of 4GW of large-scale solar, onshore wind and hybrid storage projects in the UK.

The primary focus of this position will be to manage all business financials and work closely with investors, team members managing projects, liaising with supply chain, bank manager, accountants and any other external stakeholders.

The successful candidate will be responsible for data entry and invoicing, annual budget, monthly payroll, month end journals, payments, credit control, CIS reporting, VAT returns and treasury function. Beneficial experience includes experience of financial analysis and management reporting, strong business knowledge and commercial acumen, excellent Microsoft office and Excel skills and experience with Intuit Quickbooks, CIS reporting and Sage Payroll.

As a renewable energy IPP, they have fully integrated development capabilities allowing them to deliver quality, bankable renewable power assets. The company are growing rapidly, comprised of land specialists, engineers, planning and development specialists. Their strategy is to develop greenfield projects, co-develop and acquire ready to build projects, innkeeping with their IPP model.

The role can be worked on a hybrid arrangement with their HQ based in London and offers a competitive salary package, annual bonus and opportunity to help grow an already succesful business.
