Full Job Description

As the Fine Fragrance (FF) Quality Business Manager, you will be responsible for collaborating with the leaders of stakeholder functions to develop a cohesive end to end business strategy to maximize the probability that Fine Fragrance compounds will be of a reproducible quality and guarantee Customer Satisfaction. In order to do so you will be responsible for uniting and aligning the strategies of multiple functions including but not exclusive to Procurement, FIM, House of Naturals, Creation and Development, Operations and Quality Management behind a common goal.
Reporting to the Global Head of F&B Operations, you will:

  • Work with the Commercial Team to gain and maintain a thorough understanding of our prestige FF client's business strategy.

  • Lead a collaborative cross functional effort with internal stakeholders to ensure they understand the client's needs

  • Work with each relevant function to identify the implications in the context of FF product quality/customer satisfaction on their function and what / how their functional strategy needs to be adapted / aligned.

  • Create, maintain and execute an internally aligned end to end FF Quality business strategy.

  • Highlight / escalate conflicting agendas / priorities to Senior Management such that the risk can be managed.

  • Monitor relevant performance metrics, maintain and publish a Prestige FF Customer Satisfaction Dashboard


  • The position can be based in our Ashford (UK) or Vernier (CH) office.

  • Bachelor degree in Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science or related discipline.

  • 10+ years of experience in Quality Assurance / Control activities in Perfumery, preferably in a matrix organization role.

  • Proficient in reading, writing, speaking and comprehending both English & French language

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

  • Proficient in systems and procedures for laboratory operations.

  • Proficient in production methods and quality control systems and procedures in manufacturing facilities.

  • Broad based knowledge of product technologies and applications.

  • Broad based knowledge of ingredients and products safety principles, global standards as well as regulations.

  • Knowledge of ingredients and products labelling regulations.

  • Knowledge of sensory principles and understanding of the data analysis of sensory results.
