Food and Beverage Manager

1. Overall management of the restaurant and bars in line with company procedures and adhering to brand standards.
2. Lead by example with a hands on approach and manage effectively the team of staff.
3. Preparing staff rota's for the salaried and zero hours team, with a 4 week lead time ensuring the restaurant and bars are manned effectively at all times in line with budget.
4. Responsible for ensuring all team members are trained effectively, using the training checklists and company SOP's to ensure consistency and high levels of service.
5. Develop the team to achieve high standards of customer service through ongoing communication, training, delegation and Performance and Development Reviews
6. Responsible for planning ahead for future peaks and troughs to ensure the restaurant and bars are stocked and manned effectively and the business can plan marketing drives effectively.
7. Overseeing the ordering
8. Overall responsibility for the Health and Safety of guests, staff, and visitors through constant administration of fire procedures, Kitchen and Health & Safety Risk Assessments.
9. Responsible for trip advisor responses for the pub; highlighting patterns and suggesting improvements for the future.
10. Ensure, as DPS, that standards comply with the liquor license.
11. Increase repeat business by forming professional relationships with all clients. Managing time to personally oversee all functions.
12. Control cost of sales and overhead expenses to enable budgeted profits to be achieved, monitoring food, liquor and staffing costs on a weekly basis.
13. Attend monthly stocktakes
14. To organise regular meetings with the site General Manager to discuss progress and current issues
15. Be available to work 40 hours per week including evenings, weekends, bank holidays and during busy holiday periods

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Burley Manor in Ringwood. You will join us on a 40 hours a week permanent basis and in return, you will receive a salary of up to £30,000 per annum, plus service charge.
