We, in the Business and Commercial Function of Nuclear Services, are empowering the Nuclear Services mission, through strategic business arrangements and insights.

We are currently recruiting for a Governance and Enterprise Risk Lead, to ensure the integrity of the reporting process and compliance with key business processes, while also managing the organisation's enterprise risk profile. As the lead, you will champion governance best practices and foster a risk-aware culture, to enable effective decision-making by Nuclear Services.

The team comprises finance, supply chain, business planning, governance, and work management.

We are responsible for Nuclear Services business and commercial frameworks, processes and tools. We provide insights to enable risk informed business decisions. This is to facilitate the successful operation of Nuclear Services as a service provider to our Client Licensees.

We continually develop the business processes and associated infrastructure to enable our evolving business needs.,

  • Develop and maintain a robust governance framework to support accurate and timely reporting

  • across all levels of the organisation.
  • Lead the preparation of reports for executive management and the board (when necessary),

  • ensuring they reflect the company's performance and strategic direction.
  • Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyse data, providing insights and

  • recommendations for process improvements.
  • Manage cross-functional projects related to governance and compliance, driving initiatives to successful

  • completion.
  • Develop and maintain the organisation's quality management system.

  • Facilitate training and development programs to promote a culture of compliance and governance best

  • practices.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external audits, ensuring all documentation and

  • processes meet audit standards.
  • Implement and oversee an enterprise risk management program to identify, assess, and mitigate risks

  • across the organisation.
  • Develop and maintain risk management policies and procedures to ensure that risks are managed in

  • accordance with the organisation's risk appetite.
  • Conduct risk assessments and provide strategic direction on risk mitigation strategies.

    A formal qualification in Business Management, Finance, Law, or a related field.

  • Experience in governance, risk management, or compliance roles, preferably within a similar-sized

  • organisation.
  • Proficiency in corporate governance principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in risk management principles and practices.

  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with the ability to present complex information

  • clearly, confidently, and concisely.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in analysing data and reports to identify trends, risk, and opportunities.

  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve issues before they escalate.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing business environment and needs, and conflicting priorities.

  • Meticulousness in reviewing reports and ensuring accuracy.


  • You may also have any of the following:

  • Professional certification e.g. CIA, CRMA etc.

  • Proficiency in governance software and reporting tools, and risk management systems.
