The challenge

Part of being a #TrafficTransformer graduate at Yunex Traffic means you'll take part in our fantastic graduate development programme, gaining practical experience working on real projects in a leading, global intelligent traffic systems company. You'll bring fresh perspective to what we do, helping us to achieve our goals. We will create an individual training plan to help you develop the specific skills and knowledge required for your role. By the end of it, you will be set up with the best knowledge and hands-on experience to equip you for your professional career in Yunex Traffic.

• Be an integral part of the Systems and Digitalisation team


• Directly influence the design of our centralised data platform


• Collaborate with manufacturing teams to unlock real-time data sources on the shopfloor


• Assist project teams harness data during software deployment projects

  We are looking for forward-thinking, inquisitive candidates who demonstrate the following characteristics:


• Analytical - Understand the end-to-end flow of data and how to maximise its potential


• Problem Solving - Have a methodical, logical approach to a problem, find the best solution


• Engagement - Be willing to communicate and work with stakeholders at all levels of the business

Whilst not essential, it would be a bonus if you already have experience with:

• Database Architecture: SQL, AWS, Oracle, Access etc.


• Data Processing: OLTP, SSIS etc.


• Basic Network Messaging / Protocol: TCP/IP, HTTP, XML, JSON etc.


Minimum Educational Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / Data Engineering / Data Scientist


• Consideration given to applicants with a similar IT or Engineering degree, Our 2024 graduates will join the business on 9th September 2024 so you must be available from this time to work full-time (at least 3 days on site).
