Full Job Description

You will be responsible for the application of the Project Control System to ensure effective project control principles and processes are applied (including Earned Value Management application) from Project start through to completion.

  • Resource updates


  • Quarterly Contract Status Review support


  • Schedule status updates


  • Project Management Baseline maintenance via Baseline change request database


  • Monthly Earned value management Variance Reporting


  • Actual headcount monitoring (weekly and monthly)


  • Support maintaining governance across the Control account

    You will utilise the various project control system toolsets and gain understanding of project control processes, along with a proactive and enthusiastic approach. The role requires the individual to be a confident and effective communicator with an ability to build relationships and manage stakeholders across key functions (finance, commercial, procurement, HR, engineering)., As a minimum requirement you'll need to have obtained, or be predicted to obtain, a 2:2 in your Bachelor's or Master's degree in STEM or Business, Finance, Legal, Project Management or IT related.

    BAE Systems do offer a range of hybrid and flexible working arrangements, however it is expected on our Graduate Programme you will be required to attend your site 3-4 days per week. Please note, this may be subject to change in line with the needs of the business. The hybrid working arrangements including which days you are required to work on site/remotely will be outlined by your line manager.


  • Salary £34,000 & £2,000 Welcome Bonus
