Hair Extension Technician

We are seeking a skilled hair extension tech to join our team on a self employed basis however, working from the clinic you will be expected to keep the standards expected that of South Wales Aesthetics. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing a range of cosmetic treatments to clients, enhancing their appearance and boosting their self-confidence. The clinic is situated in the beautiful glass suites on the secure second floor of Newport Market. It benefits from fully closable blinds for discrete treatments, neon signage, beauty bed, beauty trollies, fridge/freezer for products, 2 x sinks with hot/cold running water, touch free soap dispensers, area to display products and certificates, heating, own Wi-Fi, printer, projector screen to advertise your treatments, front desk, waiting area, both lift and stairs, secure post room accessible 24/7 to businesses, secure unit and extended floor, 24/7 access to businesses, coffee shops and restaurants located downstairs. The clinic
is available to the right person who can provide one or more of the following:

Laser

Teeth Whitening

General beauty i.e. waxing/nails/lashes/facials/brows/microneedling

Aesthetics i.e. toxin/dermal fillers/intermuscular injections/fat dissolving/PDO threads

Hair Extensions tech

Make-up artist

Acupuncture

Masseuse

Body piercer

Lymphatic drainage

Teacher of any of the above

The clinic is available: every other weekend (Saturday/Sunday) - days/evenings, every Monday & Tuesday - days/evenings and every other Friday 1pm - evening.

You will work on a self employed basis and can use your own social media/name if required however you will represent and work under the clinic name South Wales Aesthetics Training Academy while working from the venue.

Training can be discussed if you wish to develop skills with courses we provide., Conduct consultations with clients to discuss their aesthetic goals and recommend suitable treatments.
- Perform cosmetic procedures such as Botox injections, dermal fillers, laser hair removal, chemical peels, and microdermabrasion or those within your trade.
- Ensure all treatments are administered safely and effectively, following established protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain accurate client records and treatment notes.
- Stay updated on the latest trends and advancements in aesthetic medicine.

Certification in administering all treatments you perform.
- Proven experience in performing a variety of aesthetic treatments.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.

- Your own insurance.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

- Knowledge of skincare products and recommendations.
- Strong sales skills to promote additional services or products.

- Willing to develop in your field.

- Teaching qualification to be able to train from the clinic.

- Knowledge of social media management for promoting services

- Manage appointments efficiently

- Maintain a clean and organized work area

- Upsell products and services to clients

- Provide excellent guest services by ensuring client comfort and satisfaction
