The purpose of the role is to provide expert advice on quality and safety of care and to provide professional leadership across the CYP, MH & LD Directorate . As Head of Nursing Therapies and Quality, you will be responsible for working in partnership with the Service and Clinical Directors and their teams to drive the delivery of:

High quality care and reducing unwarranted variation.

Development of clinical pathways and service transformation underpinned evidence and informed by best practice.

A workforce strategy to develop new roles, enhanced competencies, revised skill mix and ways for working to deliver sustainable and resilient services within financial and resource allocation.

The post holder will play a lead role in developing a culture which encourages innovation, learning and research, at all levels, supporting and delivering the Trust's objectives. The successful candidate will be a visible clinical leader with demonstrable experience of driving quality improvements across a range of community services, understand how services fit into the wider clinical pathway, have a proven ability to forge collaborative relationships at all levels, and be a credible clinical leader to teams and wider partners to drive continuous service improvements.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and experienced Health Care Professional to join our dynamic leadership team as we embed our triumvirate leadership model within our community services directorate. This is a new role, which together with the Service Director and Clinical Director will work in partnership to bring medical, clinical, and operational management and leadership together, to drive high quality services with a relentless focus on patient needs, outcomes, and experience., Employment in this post requires an Standard Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, which the Trust will cover the cost of. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service are able to present a valid DBS certificate instead of requiring a new check.
