Full Job Description

We are looking for a Head of Product-Supply to define and drive the overall Media Product Agenda for Supply. This role will report into Retail Media Chief Product and Technology Director. Your deep Media experience will help balance the Media opportunity with Customer experience well-defined metrics. You will drive the inventory growth of Media propositions across different channels whether online, in-store or offsite and enable a truly omni-channel experience and connected retail. You will drive improvement in quality and quantity of inventory and will improve key metrics including CTR, CPC, etc.ââ(¬Â¯Ã¢â(¬Â¯

You will work closely with Media leadership team to enable go to market strategy, win new business, grow client value, our people and Tesco Media. Specifically ensure support for new and existing clients through providing consultancy and input to the sales process as well as throughout client engagements. You will be here to inspire, lead and line manage the product management and UX & Design teams as well.ââ(¬Â¯

What youââ(¬â"¢ll be working on

  • Be accountable for all products and Supply products facing Customers at different touchpoints across Online, Offsite and Stores. This includes but not limited to media API, enabling sponsored and digital media on Web, App and Stores, and offsites. Additionally, lead the data engineering team and the AdTech strategy and deliveryââ(¬Â¯

  • Set the product strategy for Media Product - Supply and inspire, lead and line manage a team of high-performing product managers to ensure products are defined, designed and managed well end-to-endââ(¬Â¯

  • Improve Quality and Quantity of Media inventory and balance with Customer Experience metrics through all channels., collaborating closely and effectively with Product Managers at Tesco across channelsââ(¬Â¯Ã¢â(¬Â¯

  • Be data driven, define and drive improvement in key metrics through the use of innovative media format and placement at different steps in the customer journeyââ(¬Â¯

  • Design, execute and evaluate experiments, to test any new proposition, fail fast, Innovate at its best

  • Monitor the competitive landscape to help inform strategic alliance and partnership planning, as well as identify broader new product and commercial opportunitiesââ(¬Â¯

  • Conduct market research to identify trends and make informed decisions.ââ(¬Â¯

  • Lead and inspire a global team of product managers, designers and work closely with the engineering team on execution strategies to achieve the product visionââ(¬Â¯

  • Communicate Product strategy and the relevant metrics of success to the Retail Media Leadershipââ(¬Â¯Ã¢â(¬Â¯

  • Develop and deliver presentations at industry events, develop playbooks and collateral for our products and services, and write white papers and blogs to establish Tesco Media position as industry thought leaders.ââ(¬Â¯Ã¢â(¬Â¯

  • Manage risk effectively, provide visible and consistent leadership on Values and Code of Business Conduct and act where you see issues. Protect our team by ensuring they have the skills and training neededââ(¬Â¯Ã¢â(¬Â¯

  • Possess strong analytical skills and collaboration abilitiesââ(¬Â¯

    Broad experience of working in the media, retail media and/ or CPG industry in a similar roleââ(¬Â¯

  • Deep digital and connected store/ omni-channel and product development experienceââ(¬Â¯

  • Solid understand of Experimentation and Optimisation methods, including but not limited to A/B testingââ(¬Â¯

  • Delivered differentiated Media Products, built extensible platforms working with diverse set of stakeholders within and outside the organisationââ(¬Â¯

  • Extensive experience in global media alliances and partnershipsââ(¬Â¯

  • Bachelorââ(¬â"¢s degree or equivalent in a relevant subjectââ(¬Â¯

  • Desirable skills include: Experience working in a global role and creation of thought leadershipââ(¬Â¯
