Trinity Academy is a highly oversubscribed free school that opened in 2019. We are a values based community that focuses on the learning of all students and staff, that cares deeply for our young people and each other and that is committed to co-curricular enrichment. Our stated goal is to be a +1 school for progress and as such, we are looking for a highly motivated, professional and experienced pastoral leader to join us in our mission.

Our Heads of Year are an outstanding group of people with a passion to see all young people succeed. In joining this team, you will be overseeing the pastoral needs of a year group; constantly driving for excellent attendance, behaviour and safeguarding. You will be supported by a pastoral support leader in providing care for every student in your allotted year group.

This is a key role for the Academy in fulfilling its commitment to develop "the heart" of the school. You will be experienced in working with young people in a school setting and have a track record of impact. You will need drive and determination to ensure that every student receives the support they need to be the best version of themselves. You will need to provide strategic leadership, be able to hold others accountable, have great people skills and deeply care for all young people.

We encourage you to be succinct and to restrict your supporting statement to no more than four pages in length., We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All staff and volunteers are expected to share this commitment.
