Head Veterinary Nurse - Wincanton - **up To £34.2k Pa**

This is a full-time shift pattern, however, can offer flexible working patterns for the right candidate. You will work 40 hours across 5 days between 8 am - 7 pm, including 1:5 Saturday mornings, inpatient care out-of-hours only., The practice is home to a team of 4 experienced RVNs (including a Deputy Head Nurse) and a new VCA who provides support to our 5 strong vet team. It sits at the heart of the local community and has provided veterinary care for over 100 years. The practice has a strong ethos around maintaining a healthy work/life balance and supporting each other's wellbeing. They do not operate an out-of-hours rota however on rare occasions, inpatient care may be required during the week for hospitalised patients.

Leading a team is about appreciating individuals and bringing them together to create a functioning team capable of achieving set objectives. Working alongside our other Team Leaders, you will become pivotal in the two-way communication between clinical and practice directors and your team on the ground and will be working to create and maintain an environment in which it is possible to be the best nurse you can be. You will be an experienced, qualified RVN who has worked in busy practice.
