Full Job Description
Joining the facilities team, the purpose of this position to maintain the hospice to highest standards. Completing day to day cleaning tasks as well as more detailed deep cleans, this role will work ensure the site is kept clean for all service users as well as ensuring excellent hygiene to prevent spread of infection.
As this position will be in contact with service users, you will need to be a friendly individual who is confident in sensitive situations, you will also be subject to a DBS check.
Main duties of the job
To clean the hospice to the highest standards to ensure a pleasing appearance, and to prevent the spread of infection.
Responsibility Areas
- Cleaning of all areas (internal and external) of St Michaels Hospice
- De-contamination of furniture and the premises as required
- Deep cleaning of rooms as required
- Occasional maintaining of toilets and local drains in en-suites. (Unblocking as required)
- Changing linen (including curtains) and controlling stocks
