Full Job Description

First things first: you want to know what you're actually applying for. It's impossible to capture every nuance of a role - especially at a rapidly growing company like Mews - but if we had to distil it down to a job description (which we do because this is a job description), it would be this:

We're seeking an HRIS Solution Architect to spearhead our Workday implementation. This pivotal role will drive the optimization and implementation of our HR systems, particularly focusing on Workday. By collaborating closely with HR, Finance, and IT departments, you'll design and implement a robust HRIS architecture that streamlines operations and enhances data-driven decision-making.

Your Mission, Should You Choose to Accept It:

  • Design and deploy Workday HRIS frameworks, focusing on scalability and security to support all core HR functions including recruitment, payroll, and performance management.

  • Analyze and re-engineer HR processes in line with best practices to ensure seamless integration with Workday and other internal systems.

  • Develop and maintain detailed architectural documentation including system configurations, data models, and integration workflows specific to Workday.

  • Conduct comprehensive testing of the Workday system to validate functionality and ensure compliance with all specifications and regulatory requirements such as GDPR.

  • Collaborate with security teams to ensure that Workday configurations adhere to the highest security standards, including role-based access controls and data encryption methods.

  • Lead the data migration efforts from legacy systems to Workday, ensuring data integrity and accuracy throughout the transfer process.

  • Develop and implement disaster recovery plans for the HRIS, ensuring continuity of operations in the event of system failure or data loss.

  • Provide expert training and support to HRIS users, ensuring smooth adoption and ongoing optimization of the Workday platform.

  • Manage and oversee the integration of HRIS systems with other enterprise systems (e.g., ATS, ERP, CRM, financial systems) to ensure seamless data flow and functionality across platforms.

  • Stay abreast of new Workday features and updates, advising on adoption and implementation strategies to continuously drive value from the HRIS investment.

  • Monitor HR technology trends and analyze their potential impact on the existing system, preparing the organization for agile adaptation to technological advancements.

Significant experience in HRIS system architecture, with a solid background in successful Workday implementations.

  • Expertise in Workday's suite of HR applications and a thorough understanding of HR operations and system integration principles.

  • Advanced knowledge of data analytics and reporting capabilities within Workday, including custom report creation.

  • Programming skills in relevant languages such as Java, Python, or SQL. Experience with API development, managing data integrations, and automating workflows within HRIS platforms like Workday is highly desirable.

  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to oversee complex projects and deliver on tight deadlines.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively in cross-functional teams and with senior stakeholders to drive HRIS initiatives.

  • Proven track record in problem-solving, decision-making, and innovation, with a focus on delivering business outcomes through technological solutions.

  • Experience with Agile methodologies, particularly in project management and system development life cycles.

  • Proficiency in change management processes, with the ability to manage organizational change around new system implementations effectively.
