Full Job Description
The new designer will take responsibility for projects, as well as ramp up to be able to train interns and assist them with their assignment. They will take responsibility for development and production of multiple projects within the studio responding to planned and reactive workload, whilst introducing design flare and passion within the workplace.
The designer will be responsible for ensuring the clients brief is understood, as well as the design, purchasing, and installation of their assigned projects.
- Must have at least 2 years' Interior Architecture and Design experience
- You will have worked from concept through to completion
- Great organisational skills, works well with timelines
- Must have the ability to deliver tender packages including technical drawings, schedules and specifications.
- You will have good FF&E knowledge
- Prefer a minimum 2 years' experience working in the high-end residential sector.
- Working on a range of private residential and development projects is useful.
- Technical knowledge and ability to develop interior fit-out details.
- Ability to deliver technical drawing packages, including bespoke detailing.
- AutoCAD skills are essential
- Must have worked on all stages of a project, from concept through to completion.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well individually and with a team.
- Hold a Degree in Interior Design, Architecture or similar
- Hand Sketching / Rendering
- AutoCAD
- Adobe Creative Cloud, Primarily Photoshop and InDesign
- Excellent spoken and written English
- Client facing experience, preferably as key representative
- Organisational skills
- Be highly experienced in the high end residential sector
- Have an extensive background of running projects.
- Have an good knowledge and experience of material specification, suppliers etc within the high end residential sector.
- Have excellent presentation skills, both verbally and written, present themselves confidently in meetings.
- Be confident in defining direction, presenting ideas and communicating effectively across the Team
- Be comfortable and experience with managing a team of designers and multiple projects.
- Have a keen eye for detail and design quality, delivering consistently high quality ideas and presentation output to the client
