So, join our Fund Accounting team and feel like you're part of something bigger.About your teamFund Accounting is part of Fund Servicing and Ovesight (FSO), and is responsible for maintaining the books and records of a broad range of fundsFSO is the operational backbone of Fidelity International, that provides trade settlement, asset pricing, corporate action processing, as well as fund accounting (NAV generation and production of reports and accounts for our funds). FSO are represented across the globe with teams in Australia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, South Korea, Taiwan, & the UK.About your role
Preparation and review of financial statements for a range of complex Investment Companies and OEIC sub funds.Preparation and review of management and board reporting and other external returns.Attendance at audit committee meetings to support the presentation of financial reporting material.Oversight of activities performed by a third part service provider.Corordination of the external audit for the Investment Companies.Liaison with tax specialists and Depositary/Trustee.Conduct analysis and review of dividend announcements to ensure correct accounting treatmentResolution of audit queries and reconciling positions to Depositary statementsKeeping abreast of industry and technical developmentsAbout youPrevious fund statutory reporting experience for Investment Company Funds.Proven understanding and knowledge of the AIC SORP and or IA SORP.Proven ability to communicate and work with all levels of personnelAnalytical approach with aptitude to work independently and solve complex
problemsProven ability to prioritise and organise own time in order to meet strict deadlines Strong attention to detail, analytical and numerate mind-setPart qualified accountant or qualified by experienceTeam player with a flexible attitude, able to prioritise, work under pressure and to tight deadlinesWillingness to share knowledge with colleagues and work collaboratively to achieve team goalsGood organisational skills, a self-starter who is able to take ownership of issuesStrong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of other Office programmesFeel rewardedFor starters, we'll offer you a comprehensive benefits package.
