As an IT Administrator, you will provide support to eXPD8 colleagues and clients to ensure the smooth running of business IT systems whilst making sure users get the maximum benefits from them. You will help implement, deliver and review technology within the organisation to maximise efficiency, value for money, and potential. From troubleshooting user issues to performing routine maintenance tasks, you'll play a key role in keeping our technology systems running smoothly and efficiently.

About the role:

You'll primarily be based in our Bristol Head Office, though there will be opportunity to work from home.

What will you do?

You'll be a first point of contact for all HR administrative matters, dealing with queries from colleagues, managers and third parties. In line with our SLAs, you'll be responsible for delivering accurate, first-time data processing and administration services for key areas of the colleague lifecycle, including new starters, absence, leavers and contract amendments, whilst maintaining up to date and GDPR compliant information on our HRIS.

How you'll deliver excellence:

-Act as the first point of contact for the IT service desk.

-Receive and log telephone calls from eXPD8 internal and external customers on IT matters, communicating effectively while troubleshooting, suggesting solutions and following through each case to a satisfactory resolution as quickly as possible.

-Respond to user queries and requests for assistance via the ticketing system, providing guidance and training on IT-related matters.

-Install, configure, and update desktop computers, laptops, tablets, and other IT equipment as needed.

-Support the regular device reconciliation process to ensure that we are maximising the use of assets to bring the biggest benefits to the company, as well as tracking and monitoring assets to minimise the risk of loss.

-Support with the ongoing maintenance and organisation of the MDM (mobile device management) system through the web console to ensure that that assets are tracked and managed efficiently

Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and software applications.

-Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

-Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.

-Good communication skills and a customer-focused approach to providing support to end-users.

-Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions and procedures accurately.

A bonus:

-Knowledge of Windows Servers including AD, Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Exchange.

-Good A-Levels or Degree.

-IT certifications - MCSE or equivalent.

-Proven technical expertise within a professional IT environment, or any retail background is a bonus.
