Full Job Description

  • How to provide IT support on both hardware and software including desktop PCs, mobile devices, audio visual and networking equipment

  • How to maintain and troubleshoot IT equipment

  • How to identify and resolve technical problems, As an IT Support Apprentice, you will be studying towards a level three ICT Support Technician apprenticeship. This apprenticeship is 22 months in length and will involve ongoing onsite training and mentoring from the Medhurst team combined with 25 days of off the job training at the PETA training centre in Cosham.

PETA are proud to be working with Medhurst Communications to support them with the recruitment and training of a new IT Support Apprentice., Communication skills, Problem solving skills, Logical, Knowledge of PC hardware, Knowledge of laptop hardware, Basic network troubleshooting, Software knowledge, Ability to prioritise workload, Time management skills, Knowledge of Microsoft OS, Basic understanding of Network, Driving licence (Desirable), GCSE or equivalent English (Grade C/4) Essential

  • GCSE or equivalent Maths (Grade C/4) Essential
    BTEC or equivalent IT (Grade Level 3) Desired
