Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Java-based solutions, ensuring high-quality code and adherence to industry standards. Play a pivotal role in designing and implementing data processing modules, ensuring
accuracy, consistency, and compliance with regulatory and organisational standards. Collaborate in managing data lineage and governance, critical for maintaining the integrity of financial transactions and supporting informed decision-making. Contribute to the incorporation of AI and ML by ensuring the availability of high-quality data for building advanced models. Additional Responsibilities for Regulatory Reporting Project: Drive implementation of regulatory reporting projects with a focus on Dodd Frank and MiFID regulations. Demonstrate a solid understanding of agile methodology, contributing to a collaborative and engaging team environment. Collaborate closely with the team in Canada and Terry (Global Head of Regulatory Technology) onshore. Apply problem-solving skills to address challenges associated with regulatory reporting projects. Skills and Qualifications: A degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Java Development, or a related discipline. Advanced degrees like
a Master's or Ph.D. might be preferred. Strong knowledge of Java development principles, data governance, and compliance standards. Expertise in Java programming language and proficiency in SQL or other relevant languages for data processing and analysis. Deep understanding of financial data, regulatory requirements, and organisational standards. Experience in preparing data for AI and ML applications is a plus. Broad knowledge across finance and regulations, with a focus on Dodd Frank and MiFID.
