Junior Account Handler

Aon is currently recruiting a Junior Account Manager, to join our team in London.

What the day will look like

  • Resolving queries received from clients and reinsurers - liaising with colleagues within other departments as necessary.

  • Generating and reviewing of contractual documentation

  • Working in partnership with the Account Executive team in the marketing of placing reinsurance, involving communication with clients and reinsurers

  • Collecting and analysis of data necessary for the preparation of market submissions and presentations

  • Populating and maintenance of data within Aon's IT systems.

  • Responsibility for working in accordance with the Aon UK Limited Risk Management Framework, and compliance with the Aon UK Limited policies, including participation in the management of risks (including completion of mandatory training) that may adversely affect the business, interests or reputation of any Group Company.


  • Skills and experience that will lead to success

  • Education to at least A level standard and possibly with either Market experience.

  • A willingness to learn, or have entry level Technical (re)insurance knowledge

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Great communication skills.

  • Data analysis abilities.

  • Good level of IT competency (Intermediate level in Microsoft Excel and Word)

  • Possibly some experience of working in a client-facing environment

  • Ability to work in an environment where deadlines must be adhered to
