Astute's Renewables team is partnering with an international market leader in the development, engineering, financing, construction, operation and maintenance of large-scale solar photovoltaic and energy storage projects to recruit for Junior Bess Electrical Engineer role.
The Junior BESS Electrical Engineer role comes with a salary of 35,000- 45,000 DOE plus benefits.

Responsibilities and duties
Reporting to the Head of Engineering you will be responsible for:
Supporting Electrical Design work for both AC and DC installation of Energy Storage projects.
Produce layouts for Substations including SLD preparation, cable sizing calculations, wiring schematics, earthing layouts.
Reading designs and technical drawings, providing your expertise and guidance regarding project challenges.
Support and interact with the sales teams to help integrate design specifications.
Work closely with the technical advisor to help and support ad hoc requirements.

+ HNC/HND or equivalent minimum; BSc, BEng or equivalent desired
Personal skills
The Junior Bess Electrical Engineer role would suit someone who is:
Well organised and excellent communication skills.
BESS industry knowledge (desirable)
Has AutoCAD experience
