Full Job Description

In your role as Kitchen Manager at Sodexo in Q3 Academy, Langley - Oldbury you will supervise the hospitality team at our esteemed school, making sure that our vibrant meals are served with a smile and that the kitchen and restaurant are operating efficiently. As the person your team looks to for guidance and support, you will have an impact on their day-to-day life and in turn, create a lively, productive work atmosphere. What you do:

  • Supervising the arrangement and provision of hot and/or cold food from counters and steam tables

  • Ensure that workstations and equipment are sanitised

  • Supervise the restocking of food from counters and steam tables, as well as the breakdown of stations at the conclusion of service

    Capability to work for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours) in a standing position

  • Professionalism, respect for others, and a positive attitude

  • Fundamental food handling abilities

  • Possess prior experience supervising staff.
