Teacher: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum. Plus TLR2 (£3,214). Salary within this pay range only, to be agreed at interview.

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an exceptional teacher to join our team at Crossways Federation, in a permanent leadership capacity. This is a Phase Leader role based in Key Stage 1 with classroom responsibility in the phase.

Crossways is a happy and supportive environment where children enjoy their learning and work hard. We are a Federation of two schools, making us larger than the average sized 2-form primary school. Our vision is to inspire a love of learning, nurture positive emotional and social well-being, empowering all to be their personal best and thrive within our community. This extends to staff as well as the children and families who attend the schools. Staff are rightly very proud to work at Crossways. They are research driven and work collaboratively to develop and share best practice to ensure all children benefit from high-quality teaching. This is all delivered through our values of Contribute, Aspire, Respect and Equality.

We are looking for someone to join our experienced leadership team. This could be your first step into a leadership role or you may be more experienced. Our leaders are positive, driven and aspirational for our children, their teams and themselves. They seek to support staff to deliver high-quality education that meets the needs of all our pupils. We have regular leadership training as a team and work collaboratively together towards shared goals. If you think this might be a good fit for you we'd encourage you to get in touch.

    We can offer:

  • An emphasis on professional development for all staff at all career stages which includes opportunities to work with a range of colleagues across the Federation and our external partners

  • The opportunity of a long-term primary-focused career with development and progression opportunities

  • Leadership release time of half a day a week (in addition to PPA) to support you in your leadership role along with a weekly constructive SLT meeting

  • A genuine ethos of care and compassion for staff. A focus on staff well-being that is reflective and constructive

  • Children who are exceptionally well-behaved and engaged

  • Supportive and friendly parents

  • A friendly and welcoming team of staff who work well together and are good fun!

  • An exciting curriculum offer

  • A supportive governing board

  • Clear teaching and learning approaches that support everyone to be the best they can be

  • Access to free counselling services and the Thrive mental well-being app

  • Free on-site car parking

  • Free tea and coffee

  • What we're looking for in you
