Full Job Description

You will:

  • Support with monthly, quarterly, and annual management reporting and consolidation process. Focus will be on month-end closing and reporting, quarterly forecasting, and annual Budget planning for the Global CAPEX function

  • Provide meaningful variance analysis, full understanding of the drivers to feed into group reporting

  • Support and work on process improvement projects, such as CAPEX consolidation cube and SAP to OneStream integration and mapping

  • Drive the improvement of data analytics and visualisation within a Financial Reporting environment

  • Form part of the key financial control network around global CAPEX e.g. cost centre hierarchy, framework and groupings

  • Assist in long term strategic modelling

  • Work on ad hoc tasks as they arise - some will relate to your core responsibilities, but you will be keen to take on other challenges.

  • Support the Head of Finance - Global Consolidation as required

    In addition to being a qualified accountant, we're looking for someone that has:

  • Operational and commercial financial reporting experience

  • Strong excel and system skills which promote efficient working

  • Experience with data analytics and visualization preferred e.g. Looker / Tableau / Power BI.

  • Strong proven technical accounting capabilities

  • Experience with consolidation software beneficial e.g. OneStream

  • Excellent interpersonal and business skills

  • A natural drive for results, looks to add value; energetic, engaging and positive approach

  • An instinctively lean approach, looking to improve processes and make them more efficient

  • Strong communicator, curious and challenging nature

  • Accurate and attentive to details

  • Experience in data consolidation, must be able to prepare accurate and timely reports and analysis.

  • Experience working in a changing environment typical of a fast-growing business

    About The Team

    The Dyson Group Finance team manages and balances complex budgets for our global business across multiple regions and sites. This role is part of the Global Overheads and Capex team, focusing on consolidation, reporting, planning and analysis across Group Support Functions and RDD & Operations., The Dyson digital motor V10 is the smallest, lightest, yet strongest vacuum cleaner motor Dyson has ever produced. Its ceramic shaft is cured at 1,600°C to make it three times harder than steel, yet with half the density.
