Lead Sensors and Communications Engineer

As a Lead Engineer in the Sensors and Comms team you will :

• Design system architecture which meets customer requirements


• Lead a team of multi disciplined engineers to implement and deliver solutions


• Work with customers and other stakeholders to gather requirements and validate solutions


• Engage with project managers and customers to estimate delivery times.
  
  Full System design (from antenna to GUI)


• Embedded software : C / C++, MATLAB, Python, RT Linux


• FPGA and VHDL / Verilog


• Understanding / experience in 5G protocol


• Familiarity with other comms protocols : 2G / GSM, 4G / 5G LTE L1 PHY / L2


• CommEx System engineering


• Array Processing


• RF knowledge / skills


Leadership :

• Technical leadership of project team setting up tasking and ensuring delivery


• Requirements elicitation and solution verify / validation


• Champion and ensure best engineering practices


• Excellent communication skills


• Identify and manage project risks


• Engage with project stakeholders (project manager, client managers etc)


Security

Due to the nature of this position, we require you to be eligible to achieve DV clearance. As a result, you should be a British Citizen and have resided in the UK for the last 10 years.
